If you already know the sky
Bring your list.
The 10" Meade LX200 offers computerized precision that, in the observatory's words, experienced star gazers will enjoy. The 14" Celestron handles deep-sky objects and fine planetary detail.

It's on the same grounds as your room.
The observatory shares the grounds with the Lodge, the Inn and the Casitas of The Oasis at Cat Mountain. Overnight guests get $25 off a tour.

Up to ten of you, one booking.
The observatory lists “Star Tour · 2 hours · best for up to 5 guests” at $125 and “Additional guests per person” at $15. Ask it to confirm the total and eligibility for your party, up to ten guests. Bring a bottle of wine to pass the time.
